Over 200-people in Dubai bid goodbye to six-year-old Indian-boy who died after he dozed-off in his school bus and left behind alone for several-hours, a tragedy that has shocked the country. Mohamed Farhan Faisal from Kerala, was laid to rest in Al Quoz. Relatives, friends and acquaintances could barely hold their tears as boy's father led the funeral-prayer and the procession, Khaleej Times reported.

An eight-year-old Indian-origin student in Dubai has collected nearly 15,000 kg of paper waste in the Gulf emirate as part of a nationwide recycling campaign, according to a media. Nia Tony has been honoured for her efforts in keeping the environment clean by collecting the paper waste, a source reported. She was honoured during the 22nd edition of the Emirates Recycling Awards in Dubai.

Unlike the long-term visa of 5-10 years for businessmen and talented individuals, gold-card gives permanent residency of the UAE to the holder. The LuLu Group chairman becomes the first of 6,800 investors with total investment exceeding USD 27-billion to receive the gold card.
