
Twitter will count all emojis equally towards 280-character limit

Now, irrespective of which modified emoji you use, it will be counted equally towards Twitter's total character limit of 280. Previously, Twitter would count modified emoji, based on gender and skin tone, as higher in characters than the default ones. Now, as latest update, Twitter announced that it will count all emoji equally, including leaving room for users to express more liberally.

After holding trials for a few weeks, Google has finally launched its 'Mini' sticker feature for Gboard. The feature lets users create stickers from their selfies. Notably, Google had earlier launched a feature that allowed users to create custom GIFs, and the Mini sticker feature is its latest addition to the Gboard to allow wordless expression.

Facebook has patented a technology that will help reduce your confusion while choosing selfie filters. The patent describes a technology to identify an emotion and automatically select a mask, Mashable reported. The emotion-detecting software will be able to, for instance, detect happiness from a smiling face and suggest a happy panda face filter, or detect anger and select angry bird filter and so on.
