The leaders of Ethiopia and Eritrea on Monday signed a declaration to fully implement a peace deal reached in 2000, ending the 20-year war between the two countries. Both the nations also agreed to re-establish trade and diplomatic ties. Eritrea seceded from Ethiopia in 1993, and the two countries fought a border war from 1998 to 2000.
