Britain will face shortages of fuel, food and medicine if it leaves the European Union without a transition deal, jamming ports and requiring a hard border in Ireland, official government documents leaked to the Sunday Times show. The Times said the forecasts compiled by the Cabinet Office set out the most likely aftershocks of a no-deal Brexit rather than the worst case scenarios.
UK's Labour backs staying in EU in call for second referendum

Britain's main opposition Labour-party for the first-time conditionally backed holding another Brexit referendum, in which it would support remaining in the European-Union. Labour will now challenge whoever wins the Conservative Party-leadership race and becomes prime minister to put any deal they strike with the EU to referendum, "with remain on the ballot, in which Labour would campaign for remain," party said in a statement.
Lion Air crash renews concerns about Indonesia airlines

The deadly crash of a Lion Air jet in the Java Sea has renewed questions about the safety of Indonesian airlines, not long after US and European regulators removed prohibitions against them. The surge has been particularly keen at Asia's budget airlines such as Lion Air, whose Flight 610 disappeared into the sea shortly after takeoff from Jakarta.
