Google parent Alphabet sees record highs despite EU fine

Google's parent company Alphabet posted a 26% increase in year-over-year quarterly revenue at $32.7 billion. Last week, Google was fined a record $5.1 billion by the European Union for illegally abusing its Android market dominance. Advertising remained the key revenue source for Google, pulling in $28 billion in the three months ending in June, a 24% rise from last year.
