Facebook says it removed 211 accounts in UAE, Nigeria and Egypt

Facebook Inc (FB.O) said it removed several pages, groups and accounts on its platforms that were engaged in "coordinated inauthentic behavior", originating from the United Arab Emirates, Egypt and Nigeria. A total of 211 accounts, 107 pages, 43 groups were removed from Facebook and 87 accounts were taken down from Instagram, Facebook said.

About 30% driving licences in India are fake, road transport and highways minister Nitin Gadkari said in the Lok Sabha as he made a strong pitch for passage of the much-delayed Motor Vehicles (Amendment) Bill. Gadkari minced no words in criticising the current system of licensing and penalty system for traffic violations as he introduced the bill.

Fake currency notes worth Rs 1.52 lakh seized in Gujarat

Fake Indian currency notes of face value Rs.1,52,000 has been seized on the basis of information provided by the NIA from Gujarat’s Junagadh. A person named Sanjay Devaliya was intercepted. He was found in possession of 53 fake Indian currency notes in the denomination of Rs.2,000 and 92 fake Indian currency notes in the denomination of Rs.500 with a total face value of Rs.1,52,000.
