One in two Indian Muslims fear false terrorism accusations: study

Over 47% Muslims in India fear that they will be falsely accused in terrorism cases, a survey carried out by NGO Common Cause has revealed. Out of the 15,563 respondents across 22 states, 26% Muslims believe that police discriminate on the basis of religion. The survey also found that 44% of Indians feared being beaten up by the police.
