FPI inflows hit 10-month high of Rs 12,260 crore in November

Overseas investors have pumped Rs.12,260 crore into the Indian capital markets in November, making it the highest inflow in 10 months due to falling crude oil prices and sharp rupee appreciation. The inflow comes following a net withdrawal of close to Rs60,000 crore from the capital markets in the preceding two months. Prior to that, FPIs had invested Rs7,300 crore during July and August.
Yes Bank gets SEBI nod for custodian of securities business

Yes Bank today said it has received approval from market regulator Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) for acting as custodian of securities. Custodian of securities is a licence granted by Sebi to eligible entities allowing them to offer custodial services to financial market participants including foreign institutional investors (FIIs) and foreign portfolio investors (FPIs).
