Guinness Record In Udaipur After Donation Of Over 3 Lakh Clothing Items

A campaign by a member of erstwhile royal family of Udaipur has received over 3L items of clothing, creating a Guinness world record for the largest collection of clothes for donation, a press release claimed. Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar, a descendant of Rajput ruler Maharana Pratap, received the certificate from an official of the Guinness Book of World Records-UK at Udaipur on Sunday, it said.

Troops of the Central Industrial Security Force created history by achieving a Guinness world record feat in ''single line bicycle parade'' to mark the 50 years of the paramilitary force. The new record was created at the Yamuna Expressway in Noida, with personnel of the central force riding 1,327 bicycles "non-stop with uniform distance between bicycles in a single line," officials said.
With Eye On Guinness Record, 21,000 Students Recite Sanskrit Shlokas

A college in Maharashtra attempted a Guinness World Record for the largest Sanskrit shloka recital session on Saturday. The event was organised by Sir Parshurambhau college in Pune. Shlokas written by Shree Samarth Ramdas, a noted 17th-century saint and spiritual poet, were recited in chorus by around 21,000 students from 64 schools. Students attempt Sanskrit shloka recital record with largest number of participants.
