6.3ft-long worm removed from mans intestine in Haryana

A doctor at a city hospital removed a 6.3-foot live worm from a patient's intestine, who is a native of Jind's Pega village, on Wednesday. "During sanitization of his intestine the worm having a length of around 6.3 feet was taken out alive. Such kind of worms nurture in the body by consuming food like half-cooked pork and unwashed vegetables," A doctor said.
72 Gurgaon Villages Threaten To Boycott Lok Sabha Elections

Residents of 72 villages in Gurugram's IMT Maneser area may boycott the Lok Sabha elections after the HSIIDC served notices to take back Rs.35-lakh from a compensation amount given to the farmers for land acquisition. The notices were served to meet the directives of a February 8 Supreme Court order to reverse the compensation amount in a time bound manner till June 30, 2019.
