The mastermind of the 26/11 Mumbai terror attack Hafiz Saeed, who has been indicted along with three close aides in terror financing case, could not be produced before an anti-terrorism court in Pakistan on Thursday because of lawyers' strike, an official said. Anti-Terrorism Court Lahore Judge Arshad Hussain Bhutta adjourned the hearing of the terror financing case against Saeed and others till Friday.

The mastermind of the 26/11 Mumbai-terror-attack and UN-designated global-terrorist Hafiz Saeed should be tried in the international-court and not Pakistan, a BJP MP suggested in the RS. Raising the issue during the pre-noon session of the House, GVL Narasimha Rao said the trial of Saeed in terror-funding-cases was being done 'in-camera' in Pakistan and public and media were not aware of the proceedings.

An anti-terrorism court in Pakistan on Wednesday indicted Mumbai terror attack mastermind Hafiz Saeed on terror financing charges. The Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) of the Punjab Police on July 17 registered 23 FIRs against Saeed and his accomplices on the charges of "terror financing" in different cities of Punjab province and arrested the Jammat-ud-Dawah (JuD) chief. He is detained at the Kot Lakhpat jail.
