Google will work with LGBTQ+ groups on harassment policies

Sundar Pichai has shared a letter with the LGBTQ+ employees in the company, as he addresses the 'pain and frustration' that the people of the community have faced over recent-events. Pichai promised that YouTube is taking a "hard look" at its harassment policies and that the platform will consult "many groups, including people who have themselves experienced harassment," as well as Google employee resource-groups.

A 35-year-old former Supreme Court staffer has written to 22 judges, alleging that Chief Justice of India Ranjan Gogoi had made sexual advances on her at his residence in October 2018. Meanwhile, the CJI through Secretary General of Supreme Court has denied the allegations, stating they're being made as "pressure tactics" because she has several cases of wrong-doings against her.

Jadavpur University professor Kanak Sarkar, who was criticised for his remarks on girls' virginity, had allegedly told a student her "figure is model like" and added she is "what men would enjoy". The student alleged this happened while she was giving a presentation in class. "My HOD, in front of a class of 52 students...reduced me to nothing," she added.
