Hollywood producer Harvey Weinstein, an accused in rape and sexual assault cases, has reached a provisional $44 million settlement with alleged victims and creditors, the Wall Street Journal reported on Thursday. The deal, which has not yet been signed, aims to cover all civil proceedings filed against the fallen Hollywood mogul, including those in Canada and the United Kingdom. Weinstein's spokesperson denied to comment.

The Manhattan district attorney announced new criminal charges against film producer Harvey Weinstein, accusing him of sexually assaulting a third woman. The new indictment accuses Weinstein of forcibly performing oral sex on a woman in July 2006. The new charges, which include predatory sexual assault, carry a sentence of 10 years to life in prison.
