Cardiac specialists at a city-based hospital successfully diagnosed and treated a 64-year-old patient who had a hole in the heart since birth. The congenital heart defect, which is rare among adults, had gone undetected at several other hospitals and finally got diagnosed when the patient came to Jaipur with complaints of persistent uneasiness and shortness of breath.
