China building 1000-bed hospital over the weekend to treat coronavirus

The Chinese city of Wuhan is rapidly building a new 1,000-bed hospital to treat victims of a new coronavirus, mobilizing machinery to get it ready by early next week, state media said. The virus has killed 25-people in China and infected more than 800, the government said, as the WHO declared it an emergency but stopped short of declaring the epidemic of international concern.
Mulayam Singh Yadav admitted to hospital in Lucknow

Samajwadi Party supremo Mulayam Singh Yadav on Wednesday was admitted to the Sanjay Gandhi Postgraduate Institute of Medical Sciences hospital in Lucknow after he complained of stomach ache. He would also undergo a routine check-up there. A team of doctors at the hospital is examining him at present. According to doctors, he has been admitted for a routine check-up.
IMA calls for 24-hour shutdown of OPD services in Karnatka

Outpatient services in hospitals and nursing homes in Karnataka are likely to be hit on Friday with the Indian Medical Association (IMA) giving a call for a 24-hour shutdown in support of striking doctors of a eye hospital over alleged assault of a colleague. There are about 25,000 doctors across the state, who will support it, said the source.
