Army Organises Training Sessions For Village Defence Committees In J&K

The Indian Army organised a session to train the volunteers of the village defence committees(VDCs) in J-K's Naushera sector. "Village Defence Committee training organised at Naushera to refresh their weapon training and intelligence gathering skills. The session included firing practice and medical examination of the members. Army For Awaam initiative lauded by the local populace," army's White Knight Corps said in a tweet.

The Jap Command of the Indian-Military right now condoled the demise of a "decorated" canine named 'Dutch' that helped in figuring-out improvised explosives in varied counter-terror and counter-insurgency operations. DRDO successfully test-fires indigenous anti-tank missile for Army

In a major boost for the Indian Army, Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) on Wednesday successfully flight-tested indigenously-developed Man Portable Anti-Tank Guided Missile (ATGM) system. The test fire was conducted in the ranges of Kurnool, Andhra Pradesh. It is a low weight, fire-and-forget Man Portable Anti-Tank Guided Missile (MPATGM). The missile hit the target in top attack mode and destroyed it with precision.
