Interglobe Aviation Q2 net loss widens to Rs 1,062 crore

Thursday, October 24, 2019, 8:12 PM

Losses at Interglobe Aviation, which operates India's largest airline IndiGo, widened to Rs 1,062 crore in the quarter ended September 2019, from Rs 651.5 crore loss in the same quarter last fiscal. The fall in profit was accentuated by mark-to-market losses of Rs 428 crore on capitalized operating leases, and higher maintenance cost of Rs 319 crore. These significantly impacted profitability, said the airline.
