Apple will update iPhones in China to avoid a ban on sales

Apple said it would update the software of iPhones in China to try to resolve a legal dispute that threatens to stop the company from selling older iPhones in the country. Apple and its longtime chip supplier, Qualcomm, have been fighting in court over Apple's use of Qualcomm's technology. But Apple has not stopped selling those iPhones there.

As yet another iPhone look-alike Android smartphone, Lenovo-owned Motorola has launched the Moto P30 in China. The key highlights of the phone include its iPhone X-like notched display, dual-rear cameras, mid-level specs and a dual-tone gradient glass panel. Notably, an official Weibo post by Motorola states "designed for China" suggesting the phone may not launch in other markets.
