Jacqueline Williams set to become 1st woman 3rd umpire in men's international

Jacqueline Williams of the West Indies will become the first woman to officiate as the third umpire in a men's international when she takes the field for the first of three T20Is against the visiting Ireland team. The 43-year-old from Jamaica will officiate in the position in all the three matches of the series starting Wednesday.

Ireland will impose a so-called "latte levy" on disposable coffee cups by 2021 in a bid to change consumer habits and cut the environmental impact from the use of single-use plastics, its minister for climate action said on Wednesday. Up to 200 million single use coffee cups are thrown away every year by Ireland's 4.9 million people, a government-funded report found last year.
