Suspected case of coronavirus in Jaipur

A suspected case of coronavirus has been reported in Jaipur, following which the patient has been kept in isolation, state Health Minister Raghu Sharma said. He said a doctor, who returned to India after completing the MBBS course in China, was kept in isolation at the SMS Hospital on the suspicion of being affected by a coronavirus.
Rajasthan on health alert after two suspected cases of Congo fever

An alert was sounded in Rajasthan after two suspected cases of deadly Crimean Congo haemorrhagic fever (CCHF) surfaced in Jodhpur. Two siblings suspected to be infected with the disease were referred to Ahmedabad for treatment on Monday night. The authorities suspect that the children might have contracted the disease from their father, who is currently undergoing treatment in Ahmedabad.
Rajasthan government mulls free helmet with challan of Rs 1,000

The Rajasthan government is mulling over providing free ISI marked helmets with each challan of Rs 1,000 for those who are caught driving without helmets. Transport minister Pratap Singh Khachariyawas told TOI on Wednesday that several penalties issued under the centre's newly amended Motor Vehicle (MV) act cannot be imposed in Rajasthan.
