Terror attacks on civilians cast shadow on Kashmirs apple trade

An apple trader from Punjab and a brick kiln worker from Chhattisgarh were shot dead in two separate incidents by unidentified gunmen in Shopian and Pulwama, respectively, on Wednesday, a day after a truck driver from Rajasthan was killed. Elsewhere in the Valley, armed forces killed three militants of the Lashkar-e-Taiba triggering civilian protests in areas surrounding Bijbehara.

Ex-JKLF Terrorist Accused Of Killing 4 IAF Personnel In 1990 Gets Bail

Former JKLF terrorist Javed Ahmed Mir, who is also known as Javed Nalka, was arrested and later released on bail in connection with the killing of four IAF personnel, including a Squadron Leader, in January 1990, officials said in Jammu on Friday. He was arrested on Wednesday and produced before a CBI court, which released him on bail the same day, the officials said.
