Masked woman in JNU attack photo not me, Komal Sharma tells NCW

An ABVP-affiliated student identified by the Delhi Police as one of the masked attackers seen in viral images captured at JNU on January 5, has told the National Commission for Women (NCW) she is innocent. Komal Sharma, 20, a student of Delhi Univeristy's Daulat Ram College, was also identified by name in multiple news reports, including India Today TV's two-part #JNUTapes investigation.
Delhi Police "Underplaying" Campus Violence: JNU Teachers' Association

The JNU Teachers' Association on Friday accused the Delhi Police of "underplaying" the January 5 violence on the varsity campus and termed its version of the incident as "disturbing". "Such underplaying of the incident which shocked the nation and subjected several to extreme trauma is deeply disturbing," the JNUTA said. The JNUTA reiterated its demand for the removal of the Vice Chancellor.
Disturbed Over Allegations Of Violence On Students: Union Minister

Union Human Resource Development Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal said he was disturbed after he got to know that some students have been alleged of spreading violence in the JNU. He said: "I am disturbed after hearing that the initial-investigations of the Delhi-police have found out that some students were involved in the violence in the JNU. Violence and lawlessness won't be tolerated in the universities."
