A journalist has filed a police complaint against an aide of Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, alleging he assaulted and threatened him during the Congress general secretary's visit to Sonbhadra district in UP. Nitish Kumar Pandey, a resident of Varanasi, said in his written complaint that Gandhi's personal secretary, Sandeep Singh, also touched his camera when he was covering her visit to Umbha village on August-13.

Pak Army plane crashes in Rawalpindi, kills 17 people, including two pilots

Atleast 17-people, including two pilots and three military personnel, were killed and 12 others injured when a Pakistan Army aviation aircraft on a routine training flight crashed in a residential area in the garrison city of Rawalpindi early on Tuesday. The plane crashed in the suburbs of Mora Kalu village, killing 12-civilians and five-crew-members and destroying five to six houses, the Pakistan Army said.

Journalist booked for sexually harassing domestic help in Gurugram

A 53-year-old journalist with a national daily was booked for allegedly sexually harassing his 25-year-old domestic help in Gurugram, police said. The woman, who had been working as full-time help for the accused for four years, alleged that her employer molested her when they were alone, but she managed to escape and took shelter at her friend's house.
