A day after staking claim to form government in Andhra Pradesh, YSR Congress Party chief Jagan Mohan Reddy met PM Modi in Delhi. Mr Reddy, whose party achieved a landslide victory in Andhra Pradesh on Thursday, had an hour-long meeting with the PM where he discussed the issues of special category status to Andhra Pradesh and the state's financial situation and sought central funds.

Telangana Chief Minister KCR Allocates Portfolios To New Ministers

Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao on Tuesday allocated ministries to ten new members in the state cabinet. Senior TRS leader Etela Rajender has been given the charge of Medical and Health and Family Welfare ministry and A Indrakaran Reddy was allocated with Endowments, Law, Forest and Environment, Science and Technology ministry. All other portfolios not allocated specifically shall remain with the Chief Minister.
