After Congress-leader Digvijaya Singh raised the issue of stray cows on Bhopal-Indore highway which leads to accidents, Madhya Pradesh CM Kamal Nath said that the state government has set a target of constructing 3,000 cow shelters by the next-year. Former-CM Digvijaya Singh posted a picture on Twitter of a stray cow and said that the state government should immediately remove them from the roads.

Madhya Pradesh CM Kamal Nath said that his government will do in 15 months what the BJP regime could not achieve in 15-years. "What the BJP did not do in the last 15-years, give me a chance, I will get it done in 15 months," Nath said at a rally at Kalyanpura in the tribal Jhabua-district ahead of October-21 assembly by-poll for Jhabua seat.

The Madhya Pradesh government will compensate all flood victims by October-15 and the financial assistance will reach their doorstep, said CM Kamal Nath on Monday. "The state machinery would come to their doorstep with the financial help," Mr Nath declared. He made these statements while meeting people at a flood relief camp at Rampura village, the worst hit by the recent deluge in Neemuch-district.
