Karnataka welcomes Amit Shah's clarification on Hindi

Political-parties and pro-Kannada-activists in Karnataka welcomed Union-Home-Minister Amit Shah clarifying his remarks on Hindi and expressed relief that it (Hindi) would not be imposed on them or anyone. "India has many languages and every language has its importance. But it is necessary that country should have one-language that becomes India's identity-globally," said Shah at a function in New-Delhi to celebrate Hindi-Divas on last Saturday.
Karnataka woman allegedly given triple talaq from Dubai over WhatsApp

A Muslim woman in the district headquarters town of Shivamogga in Karnataka has approached police accusing her husband of giving her "triple talaq" from Dubai over WhatsApp. The couple had been married for about 20 years, and the woman's husband had left for Sharjah-Dubai in January but did not come back, police said quoting the woman's complaint.
Aadhaar must to enter this Karnataka temple

Villagers living on the fringes of Bandipur Tiger Reserve now have to produce their Aadhaar card to visit and perform puja at the Huliamma temple inside the forest. They will also be accompanied and monitored by forest department staff. Bandipur Tiger Reserve director T Balachandra said villagers who have to perform puja at the temple have to to produce photocopies of their Aadhaar card.
