Congress-leader Shatrughan Sinha met Pakistan-President Arif Alvi in Lahore where the two leaders discussed the importance of building peace bridges across the border, president-of-Pakistan said in a tweet. The actor-turned-politician, who was in Pakistan to attend a wedding, met the Pakistan-president at the Governor-House, and the two-leaders discussed Kashmir among other matters of interest, news-agency PTI reported, quoting a statement by Mr Alvi's office.

A Pakistani anti-terrorism court will pronounce on Saturday its verdict against Mumbai attack mastermind Hafiz Saeed in two terror financing cases, a court official said on Thursday amidst intense pressure on Islamabad to rein in terror groups. Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) Lahore judge Arshad Hussain Bhutta reserved the verdict against Jamaat-ud-Dawah (JuD) chief Saeed in two terror financing cases on Thursday.
