Madhya Pradesh Police Carry Out Drills To Prep For Ayodhya Case Verdict

The Madhya Pradesh Police are gearing up to prevent any trouble as the Supreme Court's verdict on the Ayodhya temple-mosque dispute case is expected to come by November 15, the last working day of Chief Justice of India Ranjan Gogoi before he demits office on November-17. The police said they will not tolerate any "objectionable content" on social media and messenger services like WhatsApp.

Madhya Pradesh Cops Instructed To Not "Misbehave" With Dalits, Tribals

Madhya Pradesh Director General of Police VK Singh has directed cops across the state to not misbehave or assault people belonging to the scheduled caste and scheduled tribe communities taken in police custody. Madhya Pradesh Home Minister Bala Bachchan, who belongs to the tribal community, confirmed that the directives were issued in keeping with guidelines prescribed by the NCST.

Madhya Pradesh: No leave for police officials ahead of Ayodhya verdict

Police officials and employees in Madhya Pradesh are directed to not avail leave until further notice ahead of Supreme Court verdict on the sensitive Ayodhya issue and festivals. An order in this regard was issued by the state police headquarters on Friday which is addressed to superintendents of police (SPs) of all districts and other police officers.
