More People Chose "None Of The Above" In Maharashtra Elections Than 2014

The percentage of voters punching in None of the Above or NOTA option in recently concluded Maharashtra assembly elections has seen a rise compared to the 2014 polls. In the October 24 verdict, the ruling BJP-Shiv Sena managed to retain power but ceded on considerable ground the saffron allies collectively lost 23 seats to rivals NCP and Congress.
Minister Loses To Congress's Nana Patole From Sakoli Seat

Maharashtra Minister of State for PWD, Forest and Tribal Development and also guardian minister of Gondia, Parinay Fuke, lost from Sakoli assembly constituency in Maharashtra's Bhanadara district on Thursday. Mr Patole, a former BJP MP who later returned to the Congress, got 95,208 votes against Mr Fuke's 88,968 votes, the final results on the Election Commission website showed.
