Beaten Up In Pakistan, Abhinandan Varthaman's Medical Test Shows Rib Injury

A medical examination conducted on IAF Wing Commander Abhinandan Varthaman has identified a rib injury probably caused by an-assault-by local residents in Pakistan soon after he parachuted across the border on Wednesday, news agency has reported. The aim of MRI scan was to check if IAF pilot suffered any internal injury, and whether the Pakistani authorities had planted any electronic bugs in his body.

The medical-examination of victims in rape and sexual-exploitation-cases will now follow a new set of guidelines as the Union-ministry of home-affairs which has discontinued the virginity-test. Doctors are not aware of it and have not been trained for the observational-tests. The guidelines were issued in July and only a few-doctors were trained and they were supposed to train local-doctors but that did not happen.
Glenmark Pharma launches generic version of asthma drug in Denmark

Glenmark Pharmaceuticals Europe Ltd has launched a generic version of Accuhaler, used to treat asthma, in Denmark. The product was developed by Celon-Pharma and Glenmark has marketing and distribution rights for product across 15-European countries. "This is Glenmark's first inhaled respiratory product launch. Glenmark is first generic company to receive regulatory approval for substitution in Denmark for its generic of Seretide Accuhaler,"Glenmark said.
