Google to migrate its Messages online portal from Android: Report

Google will soon be moving its 'Messages' web app from Android's own web portal to Google's main site according-to-a-new-code change spotted in Chromiums Gerrit source code. This means that the company will soon move its messages platform from "messages.android.com" to "messages.google.com". This change will not arrive in Chrome OS until version 72 or 73, both of which are scheduled to go live in 2019.
Need two more months to set up Kimbho: Ramdev

Yoga Guru Ramdev has stated it will take another two months to set up Patanjali's messaging app 'Kimbho', which was launched in May as a rival to WhatsApp. Adding that preparations are currently underway, he also said, "We need to look into...handling large user traffic." A day after Kimbho was launched, it was pulled down following alleged privacy concerns.

A man has been arrested for allegedly posting an objectionable comment on a messaging app, police said today. Amardeep (22) was arrested last evening at Kakrala village under Bhopa police station, Circle Officer (CO) Rajive Kumar said. According to a complaint lodged by a youth Shedab, the accused has hurt the religious sentiments by posting an objectionable comment on WhatsApp, the CO said.
