Coronavirus Ward Inaugurated In Tamil Nadu Hospital As Precaution

A government hospital in Tamil Nadu's Madurai on Wednesday inaugurated a new "coronavirus ward" with a ribbon-cutting ceremony. "No case for coronavirus has been reported so far. We have opened this ward as a precautionary measure and for the welfare of patients," Dr Sangumani, Madurai Rajaji Government Hospital Dean told reporters in Madurai.

Amid widespread fear of spread of SARS-like coronavirus, that originated in China's Hubei provice last month, India today issued a fresh advisory for people planning to travel to the east Asian country. "Please refrain from travelling to China," the Health Ministry said today. The coronavirus outbreak in China, which has spread to other parts of world, has killed over 130 people in the country.
Engineer who worked as Zomato deliveryman, friend, held for robbery

A Zomato delivery man and his friend were arrested in Hyderabad for robbing a homemaker of her gold, said police. The police arrested 23-year-old Pappula Bhanuvikas, an engineer who works as a Zomato delivery man, and his 22-year-old friend Sakinala Manasa, and recovered gold ornament weighing 30 grams. According to the police, Bhanuvikas is an electronic engineering graduate.
