Ex-Maldives Vice President Adheeb Stays Put In Ship, No Word On Exit

A day after he arrived in Tamil-Nadu's Tuticorin on a-cargo-vessel without any valid documents, the former-Vice-President of Maldives, Ahmed Adheeb Abdul Ghafoor continued to stay put in the ship and police authorities said they had no-update on when he will leave home. The ship was close to the berth and besides the dignitary, the nine other crew-members were also on the ship, he added.
Government Will Not Share Extradition Details Of Vijay Mallya, Nirav Modi

The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) has refused to share details on the extradition of fugitive businessmen Vijay Mallya and Nirav Modi, citing an RTI clause that bars disclosure of information which would "impede the process of prosecution of offenders". In a reply to an RTI query, it said requests for extradition of Mallya and Modi have been sent to the UK government.
Anti-Satellite Missile Test Not Directed At Any Country: Foreign Ministry

India "successfully" carried out an anti-satellite missile test to verify its capability to safeguard space assets and it was not directed against any country, the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) said. The country has no intentions of entering into an arms race in outer space and it has been maintaining that space must be used only for peaceful purposes, it added.
