Just as India gears up for festive season sales, Finnish giant HMD Global has announced exclusive price cuts on select Nokia smartphones. The company, according to a report in Gadgets 360, is slashing the prices of its entry-level as well as flagship Nokia phones with a maximum price-cut of Rs. 13,000.
Man orders mobile phone from online site, gets brick instead

A man in Maharashtra has filed a complaint against a leading online retailer for allegedly sending him a piece of brick instead of a mobile handset that he ordered. Gajanan-Kharat, a resident of HUDCO area, told the police that, he placed an order for a mobile phone on the shopping site and also paid Rs.9,134 for it, Harsul police station inspector Manish Kalyankar said.

Just as India gears up for Diwali sales, Sony has offered permanent price cuts on a bunch of phones in its Xperia line-up. The company, according to a report in Gadgets360, is slashing the price of high-end Xperia devices, including Xperia XZ and XZ1, by as much as Rs. 10,000.
