Ex-Dawood aide Tarik Parveen held for extortion

The Anti Extortion Cell (AEC) of the Mumbai Police on Sunday arrested a former aide of fugitive gangster Dawood Ibrahim for allegedly extorting a city-based businessman, police said. Tarik Parveen was arrested from Dongri in south Mumbai, they added. In the FIR, police have also made former aide of Dawood Ibrahim, Ejaz Lakdawala and Salim Furniturewala alias Salim Maharaj as the accused, he added.
Suspected Serial Molester Caught On CCTV Targeting Woman At Mumbai Bridge

A young man, in white-shirt and pair of blue-jeans, can be seen casually stalking a-young-woman on the deserted bridge of a railway-station in Mumbai. He then runs up to her, brazenly kisses on her face before running away, leaving the woman in shock. Police, however, have not filed any molestation-complaint as they are still waiting for women to come forward and register a formal-complaint.
Cong fact-finding team to visit JNU

A Congress fact-finding team is scheduled to visit JNU. The team headed by Sushmita Dev has three former-student-leaders, who will visit the spot and speak to students to try and find-out the reason behind the Sunday assault in JNU. The team comprising Naseer Hussain, Hibi Eden both MPs and Amrita Dhawan met on Tuesday at the party office to deliberate on the issue.
