15 Political Parties Got Fewer Votes Than NOTA In 2019 polls

Of the 36 political parties, whose representatives were elected to the 17th Lok Sabha, 15 got fewer votes than NOTA. Many of these parties contested only a handful of seats. Introduced in the 2014 LS elections, the none of the above(NOTA) option, which indicates disapproval of all the candidates in a constituency, accounted for 1.06% of the total votes polled in this general elections.
In Madhya Pradesh Polls, NOTA Gets More Votes Than Winners In 22 Seats

Votes cast in favour of NOTA (none of the above) option were more than the margin of victory in 22 assembly constituencies in Madhya Pradesh, the Election Commission data shows. NOTA even 'outperformed' some of the parties such as the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and Samajwadi Party (SP), getting more votes across the state than them. Four BJP ministers lost in such constituencies.
NOTA Percentage Up By 47% As Compared To 2014 Polls In Telangana

NOTA votes registered a whopping 47 percent growth to about 2.25 lakh in the latest Telangana assembly elections compared to the 2014 polls. A total of 2,24,709 voters pressed the NOTA (None of the Above) option in the Electronic Voting Machines, rejecting all the candidates in their respective constituencies as against 1.52 lakh in the 2014 elections.
