Tokyo postpones training for Olympics volunteers over coronavirus fears

Organizers for the Tokyo 2020 Summer Olympics have postponed training for volunteers because of the spread of the coronavirus in Japan. The training was scheduled to be held starting Saturday but will be rescheduled, the organizing committee said in a statement released late Friday. The postponement of training will not affect other preparations, and organizers are not considering canceling the games, the statement said.
Global watchdog FATF places Iran on terrorism financing blacklist

The global dirty-money-watchdog placed Iran on its blacklist after it failed to comply with international anti-terrorism financing norms, a move that will deepen the country's isolation from financial-markets. The decision came after more than three years of warnings from the Paris-based FATF urging the Islamic-Republic to either enact terrorist financing conventions or see its reprieve from the blacklist lifted and some counter-measures imposed.
17 injured as rock tumbles down on devotees at Odisha temple

Atleast 17 devotees were injured after a large boulder hit them while they were standing in queue for darshan of the presiding deity at hilltop Jatia Baba Temple in Odisha's Sundargarh district on Friday, said police. The devotees had gathered at the temple on the occasion of Maha Shivratri and the incident occurred when a large boulder got dislodged and crashed into the devotees.
