Successive-governments in Pakistan did not tell the truth to the US, in particular in the last-15-years, Pakistani PM Imran Khan said adding that there were 40 different terror-groups operating in his country. Ms Lee is also a member of the Congressional-Caucus on India and Indian-Americans. Pakistan, Mr Khan said, was trying its best to get the Taliban on the table to start this dialogue.

Ahead of Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan's visit to the United States, a Congressional report has said that the security assistance to Pakistan would remain suspended pending "decisive and irreversible" action against terrorist groups. At the direction of US President Donald Trump, the United States had suspended all its security assistance to Pakistan in January 2018. "Pending such action, security assistance will remain suspended."

Head Of Global Finance Watchdog FATF Hints At Pak 'Blacklist' Over Terror

Outgoing Financial Action Task Force or FATF president, Marshall Billingslea, has hinted about the possibility of blacklisting Pakistan after the international financial watchdog's meeting in Paris over terror financing. "Pakistan had 'significant' work to do. With regard to an action plan agreed in June 2018, they are 'lacking in almost every respect'," Mr Billingslea said at a press briefing.
