National Security Adviser Ajit Doval on Tuesday paid tribute to the 40 CRPF personnel martyred in an attack in Pulwama on February 14, and said, "The country has not forgotten and will not forget their sacrifice." Stating those behind the attack will be brought to book, Doval added that the country's leadership will decide "when, where and how" to retaliate.

Hundreds of Indian-Americans here protested against Pakistan over the Pulwama terror attack and urged the global community to hold Islamabad accountable for "atrocities on minorities" and "sponsoring terrorism". Around 300 Indian-origin people, highlighting the plight of lakhs of Kashmiri Pandits and accusing Pakistan of providing safe havens to terrorist groups, protested at the prime locations of Houston on Saturday noon.

A day after Union water resources minister Nitin Gadkari spoke about not allowing India's share of water to flow to Pakistan, senior-Congress-leader Prithviraj Chavan said minister on his own cannot take such a decision. India has decided to "stop" flow of its share of water to Pakistan from rivers under Indus Water Treaty, Mr Gadkari had said a week after the Pulwama terror attack.
