Northeast India To Receive Heavy Rainfall Today, Says Weather Office

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) this morning said that isolated places over Assam and Meghalaya are likely to receive heavy rainfall today. The weather forecast agency further predicted that Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura are also likely to witness heavy downpour throughout the day. In Mumbai, the sky will generally be cloudy. The region is expected to receive moderate rainfall today.

Thunder and rainfall in Pune from Thursday, says IMD

Cloudy skies and light rain are expected in areas across the city with subdued rainfall likely for the next few days, officials of the India Meteorological Department said. The officials added that the city was likely to witness a marginal increase in rainfall during the first week of October. No warning on heavy rainfall has been issued in Maharashtra at present.

Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Odisha to witness heavy rainfall: IMD

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Saturday predicted that some parts of Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha and Chhattisgarh are likely to witness heavy rainfall today. The weather forecasting agency in its All India Weather Warning Bulletin also predicted heavy downpour over Chhattisgarh, Odisha and Coastal Karnataka. The organisation has also advised fishermen not to venture into these areas for the next few days.
