In First, Kerala Opposition Leader Wants Governor Recalled Over CAA

Leader of the Opposition in Kerala, Ramesh Chennithala, has sought permission from Speaker P Sreeramakrishnan to introduce a resolution asking President Ram Nath Kovind to recall Governor Arif Mohammed Khan. The resolution, according to the Opposition leader, comes after Mr Khan's repeated criticism of the Assembly's resolution against the citizenship law - a resolution he has described as "unconstitutional and illegal".

President Ram Nath Kovind addressed the nation on the eve of the 71st Republic-Day. The address was broadcast across the entire national network of All India Radio and was telecast over all channels of Doordarshan in Hindi which will be followed by the English version. At Tokyo Olympics 2020, the Indian contingent will be backed by cheers and good wishes of millions of Indians.
Delta Airlines Fined $50,000 For Telling Muslim Passengers To Get Off Plane

Delta Air Lines was Friday fined $50,000 by the US Department of Transportation to settle allegations it discriminated against three Muslim passengers who were ordered off their planes. In its consent order, the department said it found Delta "engaged in discriminatory conduct" and violated anti-discrimination laws when it removed the three passengers. However the captain refused to let them re-board the plane.
