Govt-appointed New Unitech board to discuss way forward

The government-appointed new board of Unitech in its first meeting on January 28 will discuss the way forward for the embattled realty firm. The seven-member board, headed by Haryana cadre IAS officer Yudvir Singh Malik, has been asked by the Supreme Court to prepare a resolution framework of the company and submit a comprehensive proposal within two months.
India Cements profit plunges 95% on dip in NPR, spike in variable cost

Hit hard by the 4% drop in net plant realisation coupled with a sharp 8% increase in variable costs, including fuel, India Cements has reported a 95% drop in its net profit for the quarter ended September 30, 2018 to Rs 1.43 crore as compared to Rs.23.67 crore in the same quarter last fiscal.
