RBI doesn't relent, chiefs of private banks need to retire at 70

The Reserve Bank of India has refused to relent on its guidelines requiring chief executives of private banks to mandatorily retire at the age of 70, setting the stage for Aditya Puri to step down as HDFC Bank managing director and CEO next October, while Romesh Sobti will retire as IndusInd Bank chief at the end of the financial year.
Central Armed Police Forces Personnel To Now Retire At 60 Years: Centre

All personnel working in the CAPFs will now retire at a uniform age of 60years, a government order said on Monday. Officers from the rank of Deputy Inspector General (DIG) upto the top-most rank of DG in these four-forces retired after attaining the age of 60. The Monday order also directed all the forces to "comply with the court-order and amend provisions of rules."
