After Congress-leader Priyanka Gandhi Vadra was stopped by police in UP on her way to meet the families of 10 tribals killed earlier this week, her husband Robert Vadra came-out in support. In a Facebook-post, Mr Vadra called Priyanka Gandhi's "arrest" unconstitutional. "The way my wife & congress-leader, Priyanka has been arrested, is completely unconstitutional. No documents were produced for the arrest," he said.

Robert Vadra Withdraws Plea Seeking Protection From Probe Agency Action

Businessman Robert Vadra Thursday withdrew his plea, filed in the Delhi High Court, for direction to the Enforcement Directorate not to take any coercive action against him in a money laundering case. A bench of Justices Manmohan and Sangita Dhingra Sehgal dismissed the application as Mr Vadra withdrew it saying he has already been granted anticipatory bail by a trial court.

Before heading to the Enforcement Directorate office today for questioning in a money laundering case, businessman Robert Vadra wrote on Facebook, "As I make my way for the 13th time...I stay focused and calm." Vadra claimed he has been questioned for nearly 80 hours amid "unnecessary drama" and requested that "interrogations go on without the extra attention of Media Drama."
