
India asks World Court to order release of Kulbhushan Jadhav

India asked World Court to order the release of Kulbhushan Sudhir Jadhav, an Indian national sentenced to death by Pakistan, saying Islamabad had failed to allow him diplomatic assistance before his conviction, as required by an-international-treaty. The hearings at U.N. court, formally known as ICJ, revolve around the case-of-Jadhav, a former Indian-navy-commander who was arrested in Pakistan in March 2016 and convicted of spying.

Rajnath Singh inaugurates cyber crime fighting facility

Boosting country's efforts in tackling cyber crimes, Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh inaugurated a state-of-the-art NCFL and Delhi Police's cyber crime unit 'CyPAD' here. Both the cyber-crime-fighting units are based in complex at Dwarka, Sector 16C, Special Commissioner of Police M M Oberoi said. Speaking on occasion, Singh termed cyber-crime as "biggest-challenge" and expressed hope that the new facility will effectively meet the challenge.

Payment service provider ToneTag appoints Anil Kumar as CTO

ToneTag, sound-based proximity communications and payment services provider, has announced the appointment of Anil Kumar as its Chief Technology Officer. As the CTO, Kumar will be responsible for optimising the company's existing tech stack to a more robust and scalable version, the company said in a statement. He will also be responsible for making the product more diverse and improving the company's R&D centre.
