In MP, school teachers to take exams for poor performance of students

Madhya Pradesh government has decided to test the knowledge of school teachers in about 700 schools by making them appear for an examination similar to class 10 and 12 board exams. This comes after 30% of the students in these schools failed in the board examinations. Teachers could face demotion or even forced retirement if their performance is extremely poor.

Vasundhara-Raje was at her best while speaking to the thousands of teachers who had come from across the state to Jaipur for the state-level-teachers program on Wednesday. Raje shared the incidents of her childhood about how teachers can bring change and make the students interested in subjects. She said that she had little interest in mathematics and used to get less marks Raje said.
