Sunanda Pushkar case: Delhi court allows Shashi Tharoor to travel abroad

A Delhi-court allowed Congress MP Shashi Tharoor, an accused in the case of his wife Sunanda Pushkar's death, to travel-abroad for a period of one-month. Special Judge Ajay Kumar Kuhar granted permission to Tharoor to go to Serbia, Kuwait, Australia and Bangladesh from October-11 to November-11. Pushkar was found dead in a suite of a-luxury-hotel in the city on the night of January-17, 2014.

Congress MP Shashi Tharoor appealed to Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday, declaring himself "deeply disturbed" by the FIR against the 49 authors of an open letter to the PM in July. Speaking to NDTV today, Shashi Tharoor said the public only wanted to see the Prime Minister show some concern and warned the centre against dismissing challenges to it.
