Will Launch Civil Disobedience Campaign Against Congress: Shivraj Chouhan

Former Madhya Pradesh chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan today said he will launch a "savinay avagya" (civil disobedience) campaign against the ruling Congress over "non-fulfillment" of its promises in the state. The senior BJP leader made the announcement during the conclusion of his two-day "Janata ki Adalat" (people's court) at Nasrullaganj tehsil in Sehore district, which falls in his constituency Budhni.

Senior BJP leader Shivraj Singh Chauhan on Sunday said dynasty politics was rejected in the last general-elections, but the Congress did not learn from it and still wants Rahul Gandhi and Sonia Gandhi to lead the party. Mr Chauhan said the BJP has set an example as its leaders grow in the party naturally, while the Congress is unable to move beyond a family.

Former Madhya Pradesh CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan attacked Samajwadi Party leader Azam Khan for his sexist remark against BJP MP Rama Devi in the LS, alleging he derives "pleasure" after making "absurd" comments against women. Speaking to reporters in Gorakhpur, Shivraj Singh Chouhan also criticized SP president Akhilesh Yadav for trying to defend Azam Khan and said, "There is no future of Samajwadi Party."
