It has been a super successful two-week run for Simmba and so far the film has scored multiple records for all involved with the film. First and foremost, film has entered the Rs.200-Cr club, hence becoming only the third release of 2018 to achieve this feat. Interestingly, the other two films actually belong to the Rs.300-Cr club-Sanju earning Rs.342.53Cr and Padmaavat collecting Rs.302.15Cr.

Rohit Shetty's Simmba has become the latest victim of Tamilrockers. The Ranveer Singh and Sara Ali Khan starrer has found its way to the piracy website. In the recent past, many popular films have become a victim of Tamilrockers and this includes Shah Rukh Khan starrer Zero and Yash starrer KGF that released on December 21. Simmba is the last big release of 2018.

Simmba is the first-Bollywood-collaboration between Ranveer and director Rohit Shetty. In an-emotional-video-shot on its wrap-up day, Ranveer thanked Rohit for making it a memorable experience. Ranveer Singh recently wrapped-up the shoot of his upcoming film Simmba. And before he began its promotions, he took time-off to tie the knot with his long-time girlfriend Deepika. Simmba also stars Sara Ali Khan and releases on December-28.
