Kerala minister says no permission for Casinos in coastal areas

Kerala Excise Minister TP Ramakrishnan said that the government has not yet decided to give permission to casinos in Kerala's coastal areas. While answering questions in the assembly, he also said that the government will open de-addiction centres in all talukas of the state. "Will increase the number of beds in existing de-addiction centres," Ramakrishnan added.
Kerala residents baffled after liquor flows from their water taps

As many as 18 families staying in Kerala's Chalakudy complained of finding water laced with alcohol running through taps at their apartment complex. A report claimed that excise officials recently disposed of alcohol in a pit near a well in the apartment premises. It stated that the alcohol must have seeped through the soil and entered the well.
Andhra Pradesh Three Capital Row: Centre Refuses to Intervene

In a fresh development in the controversy surrounding the Andhra Pradesh government's move to allot capital status to three cities, the Centre said that it won't intervene in the issue as it is the prerogative of the state governments to decide on their capital cities. The remark was made by Minister of State for Home Affairs Nityanand Rai in the Lok Sabha.
